I'm making a point to post on Mondays about moments I am grateful for in the past week. We can all use a little more intentional thinking about things we're grateful for. With that said, I hope you'll continue to join me in gratitude on Mondays :)

Here are a few moments from this past week that I am grateful for:
One year with the Blended Blog - last week marked a year that some blog friends and I started "The Blended Blog". In all honesty, I can't take much created for that blog, because I'm very out of the loop right now and could definitely be considered 'the weakest link' but despite my absenteeism, the ladies remain lovely and are posting some great stuff. We celebrated one-year by hosting a scavenger-hunt style giveaway ($150 gift card of your choice) AND there's till a few days to get your entries in. Getting out of the house - work has been busier than normal as my job is switched up at the moment, this involves a bit of commuting and a somewhat scattered schedule. Despite that, I still managed to get out of the house 3 nights this week (unheard of!). Golf lessons Monday night, the driving range Tuesday night and Olivia's Freezer Friday night! It was busy but also productive, so there's that.
My tiny dancer - little miss had her first dance class at a dance studio this past weekend. She insisted her daddy take her (I shared a little more about that in Instagram) and despite my heart breaking a little, it was also touching to see the relationship between her and her daddy. Plus, he remembered to take pics (he's lucky) and he brought me home a coffee. Oh and little miss was a star (obviously).
A lunch time run - I'm stuck somewhere between eating all the things and watching all the tv and wanting to be healthy and taking the necessary steps to get to that point. The good news is that I've been slowly moving in the right direction. My schedule and motivation isn't such that I'm doing ALL (or even of a fraction) of what I need to do but I'm getting there. I choked down a few salads (unfortunately I also ate McDonalds too.... *hangs head in shame*) and went for a run (yes "a" run, I'm a work in progress alright). I mostly decided to go for a run because I was freezing in the office and there's a gorgeous park by the office I'm working in right now. Now.... to get myself doing that a few times a week lol.
Family nap (and family time) - this might be the highlight of my week. Saturday was a rainy, gloomy kind of day. Brent was FINALLY home for a day so we did the obligatory running around (groceries) and then headed home in time for Oliver's nap. Mr. B had the fantastic idea for he, Annabelle and I to snuggle in bed and watch a movie (aka nap) and miraculously, ALL 4 of us had overlapping naps. It was GLORIOUS! We spent the rest of the day being lazy and enjoying each other's company which is just what we all needed.
