I'm so happy you're here!!

I'm making a point to post on Mondays about moments I am grateful for in the past week. We can all use a little more intentional thinking about things we're grateful for. With that said, I hope you'll continue to join me in gratitude on Mondays :)

This past week seemed fairly chaotic on a number of levels. It wasn't a bad week per se, it just seemed busier than most weeks (which is saying something, because I feel like I'm always busy now that I'm working). Despite the hectic nature of the week, there are certainly a number of moments worth celebrating/sharing/logging in the memory books.

Here are a few moments from this past week that I am grateful for:

Improving my game - week 2 of my golf lessons (I mentioned them last week) and seeing improvement. Not that big of a deal for most, but I haven't played in years and it feels good to at least see some kind of progress after 2 lessons. Too bad golf season is almost over here lol.

My first trunk show - I had my first trunk show this week! Part of the reason I love Stella and Dot so much is because the trunk shows are really just great girl's nights with a little dress-up and shopping mixed in. It was great to catch up with some of my favorite ladies AND share some pretty stuff. A few lovelies that weren't able to attend even placed orders :) thanks ladies!

Quite time - with Mr. B out of town ALL weekend (like 6am Sat til late Sun night) I was parenting solo. That combined with my currently tantrum-prone toddler made for a rather interesting Saturday. And then, like the angels that they are, my neighbors offered to take mini-me fall strawberry picking Sunday morning. This just happened to coincide with little man's first nap. That meant quiet time for mom! You want to know what I did with that time? I took one look around my house - laundry unfolded, dishes to be done, floors to be vacuumed - I made myself a cup of coffee and watched two episodes of Nashville and vowed to not feel one bit guilty about it. Fear not, I kicked it into high gear later and moderately tidied the house, did some meal-prep and finished the god forsaken laundry. Go me.

I'm working out of town for the next 8 weeks which will mean 1 hour drive each way to work (yuck) so gosh only know what that'll mean about here all I can promise is I'll do my best :) Happy Monday friends... I'll help start your week with a smile
