I'm so happy you're here!!
I'm making a point to post on Mondays about moments I am grateful for in the past week. We can all use a little more intentional thinking about things we're grateful for. With that said, I hope you'll continue to join me in gratitude on Mondays :)

Here are a few moments from this past week that I am grateful for:
Practicing my game - I can't remember (and am too lazy to look) if I shared in a previous post that I'm making an effort to get out of the house one night a week. When some coworkers asked me to join them for golf lessons for the next few Mondays it seemed like a perfect fit. Nevermind the fact I haven't golfed in years and hadn't the faintest clue where my clubs were. First practice definitely had me humbled but was so much fun (despite the pesky mosquitos)!
nothing like a selfie at the driving range
Girl's day - little miss had a doctor's appointment Tuesday, it seemed silly to go to work, pick her up and then go back to work so instead, I decided to take the day off and we did a "girl's day". We had a coffee/donut breakfast date, did some shopping (apparently it's NOT too early to get a Halloween costume or snowsuits - thanks Costco), saw the doc, and went for a walk. It's hard now that I'm back at work and feel like so much of my time spent with the kids is rushed, this was the day mini-me and I needed.
Yummy eats - can I tell you how thankful I am to have a freezer stocked with ready-made meals (thank YOU Olivia's Freezer) and it's been awesome trying so many new dishes. On this weeks menu was Shrimp Capellini (I used spaghetti noodles and spaghetti squash) and Asian Beef wraps. It's highly unlikely these meals would have come to fruition in my kitchen in the middle of a work week, so it was a total win in my books... and DELISH to boot!
New pretty things - I received some more pieces from Stella and Dot (yes, I have a problem) and I have to tell you I'm in LOVE with layering the delicate necklaces. I see an intervention in the not-so-distant future.
Long-weekend fun - we had no plans this long weekend but ended up having lots of fun (and we still have a whole day left!). An impromptu BBQ and family sleepover one night, a trip to my aunt's pool/hot-tub followed by dinner, drinks and cards with our neighbors. Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels like summer flew by in the blink of an eye!? Seriously.
when in doubt, build a fort (or a "princess castle")
apparently I shouldn't have woken little dude up from his nap
little guy loved seeing his face on my phone! how cute is that smile?!
Anyways, hope you ALL had a beautiful long weekend and now that summer has unofficially ended, here's to an amazing fall!
