I'm so happy you're here!!
I'm making a point to post on Mondays about moments I am grateful for in the past week. We can all use a little more intentional thinking about things we're grateful for. With that said, I hope you'll continue to join me in gratitude on Mondays :)

Here are a few moments from this past week that I am grateful for:
Last week I kept my moments limited mostly to a day (our anniversary) and this week I'm switching it up again (gotta keep you on your toes) so I'm going with a theme: spur of the moment.
This week I am so thankful for those moments, those memories that we make with very little planning. The things we make a choice to do at the last minute that result in some pretty amazing memories.
surprise sleepover party - Mr. B went to the Blue Jays game Thursday night and wasn't home til late. I decided to ditch blog to-dos and asked mini-me if she wanted to have a slumber party. She was quite keen on the idea. My little princess and I snuggled in bed and watched Rupunzel (for the 2nd time this week and the 10489384 time total). There were a few moments I thought she was going to stay up later than me, but I snuggled in a little closer and she was out like a light. It's funny, I really did have a lot of 'stuff' to do, but there wasn't one second I regretted my decision. Even if she doesn't remember spontaneous sleepovers (because she never sleeps in our bed), I will, and it's a memory I'll treasure always.
last minute play dates - Friday night, over wine and snapchat, my friend invited Annabelle and I over for a playdate on Saturday. As fate would have it, Oliver was struck with a fever Friday night/Saturday so getting out of the house was a welcome break. Not only was it cute/hilarious watching Annabelle and her little buddy play together, it was also nice for me to chat with a like-minded mom-friend. Then there's the whole Annabelle attempting to drive that seriously had me in stitches, Girl is RECKLESS!!! I'm seriously still laughing at the thought of it.
spontaneous date day - the embarrassing truth is that Mr. B and I have maybe had 3 dates since little man was born nearly a year ago *hangs head in shame*. When the opportunity presented itself for us to head to a Blue Jays game (ya, that's two games in a week for Mr. B - lucky guy) together we jumped at it. I LOVE our babies but it's so nice to be able to reconnect without having to worry about diapers, potties, what the kids are eating or naps etc. The sun shone bright, the beers were cold and the Jays won!! What more could we ask for?
