I'm so happy you're here!!
I'm making a point to post on Mondays about moments I am grateful for in the past week. We can all use a little more intentional thinking about things we're grateful for. With that said, I hope you'll continue to join me in gratitude on Mondays :)

Here are a few moments from this past week that I am grateful for:
Being 'on the mend' - I feel like I've been sick FOREVER and although I'm not 100% (freaking sinus bull) I'm definitely feeling so much better. YAY.
Blogging at Huffington Post - despite having a blog and putting stuff out there for the world to see, I'm still fairly self-conscious (read: REALLY self-conscious) about my writing. After some encouragement I sent a piece into the Huffington Post fully expecting it to be declined. Instead, they approved me as a blogger to write what I want and when I want. WHAT?! *pinches self*... now, to write some stuff...
Spending time outside (and saying eff the 'to-do' list) - I have less than 3 months left of maternity leave (yes, I know, sooo lucky to have a year off) but that means I'm running out of time. Guys, I'm RUNNING out. of. time. So my attitude has taken a quick adjustment. I'm viewing quality time and 'fun' as a priority and saying 'eff it' to the rest. My kids are unlikely to remember a few dishes on the counter but they might very well remember the days spent outside laughing in the sunshine and I'm good with that. I truly am.
little man learning to clap... cutest!!
stop, drop and SELFIE!
Mother's Day - on Sunday I thought I'd try and entertain you with my dream Mother's Day vs what my Mother's Day might actually look like. Well... here's the real deal:
My Mother's Day was freaking amazing. I didn't wash a single dish, I didn't have to cook, my kids were on good behavior (for the most part) and I felt so very loved. This is a Mother's Day I will measure all Mother's Days against because, truthfully, it was that good. As I sit with a glass of wine, reflecting on the day, on being a mom, I feel so happy and blessed with this life.
handsome boy at breakfast!
little miss on good behavior for breakfast
Mother's Day is NOT complete without your toddler insisting she MUST bring her baby where ever we go... she's a mom too, afterall... apparently
we let mini-me pick lunch, McDonalds... should have known better
family trip to Chapters? Yes, please!
did some visiting and ended the night with a nice (giant) glass of wine... *sighs* I wish every day was Mother's Day :)
I hope you all had the best Mother's Day EVER!!! Goodness knows you deserve it!
