I'm so happy you're here!!
I'm making a point to post on Mondays about moments I am grateful for in the past week. We can all use a little more intentional thinking about things we're grateful for. With that said, I hope you'll continue to join me in gratitude on Mondays :)
See previous Monday moments of gratitude posts HERE.
Here are a few moments from this past week that I am grateful for:
Little man turned 8 months old - time is flying by. This little guy is growing fast and furious. We literally have to be on-top of him because, despite the fact he just learned to crawl a week ago, he's moving at lightening speed and once he sets his sights on something there is no stopping him. One look at his cheeky grin and bluest eyes and I'm putty.
Sibling love - Mini-me wants nothing more than to love on her brother most of the time. Little man looks at his big sis like she's a bowl of cheerios. The love these two have for each other is growing daily and it's the most beautiful thing of having two children.
Being silly - I'm guilty of taking life way too seriously sometimes. I stress because the house isn't as clean as I'd like it, the laundry isn't folded and my mounting to-do list goes unchecked. Sometimes I saw "screw it" and just goof around with my babies... I've said it before and I'll say it again, they won't remember the unfolded laundry but I'm sure they'll remember mom bouncing them on her legs or chasing them around the house. Note to self: enjoy more silly moments.
Power outage/ice storm - Sure, sounds odd to be thankful for the power going out, but it rendered me unable to do anything blog-related and Mr. B unable to watch tv. We were forced to watch a movie (my computer battery was charged) and spend some quality time together.
The aftermath of the ice storm was simply stunning to see. The melting ice glimmered like diamonds in the sunshine. Driving to the grocery store was like a trip to the world's largest Tiffany's store. Couldn't help but smile at the sight of all the shiny things! Also, super cute that mini-me was convinced Elsa had come and turned our city into Arendale lol.
Easter through a child's eyes - last year mini-me liked Easter but as she gets older it only amplifies her excitement. Delighted with every little thing. Even more than the eggs and gifts, she loved the activities and the time together. She loved spending time at our big family Easter dinner and was entertainment for us all (her brother assisted).
If you don't follow me on Facebook or Instagram than you will have missed the story about how sweet my little girl is. Here's the recap:
mini-me and momma - she's not excited at all for her egg hunt
little man loves trying to walk holding on to dad (or mom, or anyone who will help him)
FYI: our Easter Bunny prefers an adult beverage with his carrot. Don't judge.
My dancing queen - honestly, this kid is so full of personality I can't even handle it (and obviously no clue where she gets is from... weird). She decided that she wanted to do a "concert" and this is what we got:
That cute little wiggle gets me every single time
2 years blogging! - Mar 27 (yesterday) marked 2 years of blogging... crazy. There are so many thing I want to say but I'm far too tired after the weekend's festivities. Long story short, despite my blogging struggles, I keep it up because of the relationships I've made and the outlet it provides me.
To celebrate my blog anniversary and YOU I am running a little giveaway until next MONDAY . Good luck!!
Happy Monday and here's to another week filled with beautiful moments worth celebrating.
