I'm so happy you're here!!
I'm making a point to post on Mondays about moments I am grateful for in the past week. We can all use a little more intentional thinking about things we're grateful for. With that said, I hope you'll continue to join me in gratitude on Mondays :)

Here are a few moments from this past week that I am grateful for:
meeting Julius - my nephew, Julius, was born a few weeks ago and I finally got to meet him!! Mini-me was sooo excited, she was beaming about her new cousin! I love knowing these littles will be best-buds for life!
daddy's little helper - there's no denying that mini-me is a daddy's girl in every sense. Her adoration for her dad warms my heart unlike most things have the ability to (truth be told: it has also given me mild tinges of jealousy over the years lol). The sweetest moment was when Mr. B was doing dishes (SCORE) and she went upstairs and showed up a few moments later, stool in hand, and proudly placed her stool and stated "now I can help you daddy". I smiled, a big fat proud mom-smile, as I watched these two wash and rinse the dishes.
afternoon naps - I wish I meant for me; however, next best thing is a snoozing toddler who normally refuses naps. She passed out on the couch one afternoon with Lilo, on the other end. I enjoyed some much-needed/deserved quiet time with little man and got to admire the view of these two cuties on the couch.
no more night-time diapers - mini-me said a full and complete goodbye to diapers this week. She's now gone a few nights in a row diaper-less. It's meant a few early morning wakeups, but my gosh, her determination to be diaper-free has made this whole transition much easier than I could have ever imagined. Go mini-me!
warmer weather & walks - it's started to warm up a little bit which just seems to shift everything, my mood and perspective included, in a more positive direction. It was so refreshing to be able to get out of the house without worrying about frostbite or bundling the kids up so much that their movement is restrained. Little man was a little straight-faced but mini-me thoroughly enjoyed our 'adventure'. Fingers crossed we get to keep these lovely temps and spend more time outdoors.
full weekend with Mr. B - Mr. B has been working like crazy for a while. I don't remember the last time he was home both days during a weekend. This weekend we got to have him home both days and it was ah-mazing. I told mini-me Sunday morning that daddy was going to be home again today and her response was "yay daddy, woohoo" followed by a jump in the air and fist-pump. Clearly, I'm not the only one craving time with our best guy.
holy milestones Batman! - it was a big week for our little man. It started out with many disruptions in sleep which quickly made sense as the week progressed and we saw our little dude crawl for the first time, start waving, giving high-fives and moving from all-fours to sitting position. The pride in his new-found skills just emanates from his toothless grin. Though, that toothless grin will not be so for much longer as one of his bottom teeth has finally begun to pop through.
one night with NO NIGHT FEEDINGS - I'm jinxing it by talking about it but my little man made it through a night (from 7:30 - 6:15 ) without eating. Even if it's a one-off, I'll take it. **he still woke up, but went back to sleep with no crying or eating. Naturally, though, I was up multiple times wondering why he wasn't waking up le sigh - kinda reminded me of this post**
I seriously feel like I could go on forever with moments from this past week because that's how great it's been... I won't write in detail because you'd be here all day but a few more quick moments I treasured: a birthday party, wine with the hubby, blog-brainstorming/collaboration planning with Abbie, some quiet mommy-time, little man taking a bottle with no issues... seriously... I could go on FOREVER.
This week was literally one for the books. I honestly feel as though I smiled and delighted in the world more so than I have in some time. The change in me is palpable and I truly credit some of that to acknowledging that there are always moments to revel in and taking the time to do that. Plus, let's be serious, some pretty cool stuff has been happening around here.
