I'm so happy you're here!!
I'm making a point to post on Mondays about moments I am grateful for in the past week. We can all use a little more intentional thinking about things we're grateful for. With that said, I hope you'll continue to join me in gratitude on Mondays :)
See previous Monday moments of gratitude posts HERE.
Here are a few moments from this past week that I am grateful for:
Pretend breastfeeding. During a playdate this past week, both mini-me and her friend fed their dolls. Well color us mommas impressed when BOTH of our littles pulled up their shirts and breastfed the dolls (Annabelle was so kinda as to feed the baby and then Elmo, she's generous like that). Honestly, I don't care if you bottle-feed or breastfeed, I'm just happy that mini-me recognized breastfeeding as an option despite the fact that the vast majority of baby dolls come with bottles.
Blog makeovers. Alright, this one isn't exactly completed yet, but it's in the works and I'm looking forward to it. I talked a little about it HERE. The process of this makeover had me thinking a lot about why I'm doing this and where I see my blog going. I feel good about the changes and am happy with my direction.
After nap smiles. One of my favorite moments of the day is when I go and get little man after a nap. I creep in the room and, being honest, I crawl on the floor so he can see me through the crib rails. He just lights up. He smiles so big and so bright that my heart melts. Every. Single. Time. Seriously, whether he's been asleep for 30 min or 2 hours, little man is always happy to see his momma and I'm just as happy to see him.
Potty successes. Can I tell you how much I've been dreading potty training? Oh wait, this is a positive post. WELL, despite my fear of this process, mini-me has proceeded to surprise and impress with her ability to let us know when she's gotta go. I am so very proud of this kid, words can't even begin to capture it. I have an AWESOME daughter, just sayin'.
Wine, flowers, breakfast and dinner. Mr. B had to work Saturday but arrived home Saturday evening with a bouquet of flowers and two (very nice) bottles of wine. Don't tell him, but I would have been happy with cheap wine (shhhhhh our little secret).
I rewarded him and mini-me (and myself) by making heart-shaped pancakes V-day morning. Delish!! I hadn't had pancakes in forever.

I decided that we could have a 'date' after the kids went to bed on Sunday. Sooooo tasty! Protein overload, but delicious none-the-less. You REALLY can't go wrong with steak, lobster and bacon wrapped scallops... and WINE (obviously)
An extra day. Monday is the "Family Day" holiday where we live. Mr. B has to work a little in the morning but then we get to spend the day together. YAY! It's going to be another cold one here so me and my babies may just have a pj and snuggles day :)
Hope your week is filled with beautiful moments!
