Clearly, I've got some stuff on the go, a baby due mid-July for one... so it's very possible I'm missing a few weeks around baby-time - BUT I'll try my best to at least get something together the majority of weeks.
Onto this week:
April showers bring May flowers
Rainy weather gear:
It may or may not be obvious, but I'm not really outside playing in the rain often. Having said that, it doesn't really make a ton of sense for me to own hardcore rain-gear.
The other complicating factor is my round baby belly which means I'm not longer fitting into the vast majority of my non-maternity wear. That includes my beloved trench.
I love me a good, well-fitted, trench. It's the perfect jacket for rainy days but while still looking (and feeling) cute (despite potentially yucky weather).
IF I was in the market (or the size) for a new rain trench this year, here are some jackets I'd LOVE to get my hands on:
As for boots, well I do love my Hunter rain boots... along with the rest of the world! It's hard for me to think of any other rain footwear. Mine are matte black, perfect to match with almost everything. I do LOVE all the colorful choices. Less practical than my black boots but so much fun!
me in my boots... not a great pic but apparently I never take pics when I'm wearing them
some other boots I find super cute:
Alright, I kinda feel like I'm borderline pushing the floral thing lately. I picked some REALLY pretty floral accessories in a recent blog post on Spring Trends AND I've been wearing a bit of floral lately.
Here's some of my recent floral pieces:
floral scarves are a great way to add some floral without making too big of a commitment
went out on a limb buying these floral leggings but LOVE them!
Moral of the story - floral is on trend, pretty and feminine and I LOVE it. So buy some. Wear some. And make sure you share your finds because I could always use more :)
