baby #2 update

Monday, March 2, 2015

Today marks 20 weeks and 1 day pregnant for me. It also just happens to be our anatomy ultrasound. Mr. B and I went into the appointment fully expecting to keep the sex of the baby a surprise.

As I laid on the table, I kept having this inkling... this sudden desire to know RIGHT NOW.

Mr. B was ushered into the room by the technician and when she asked 'are you finding out the sex?' we both, after a quick confirming glance, said 'no'.

The appointment ended and as I put myself together I said to Mr. B 'are you sure you don't want to find out?' He shot me a puzzled look. I had been adamant up until this point that we would not be finding out but all of the sudden I had to know. The technician then volunteered that she could still tell us and we both looked at each other and said 'yes, we want to know'.

it's a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently, both of us lost our willpower in the moment but thankfully, neither of us regret the decision at all!

Now, time to pick out a name a nursery decor!!!

Happy Monday!

  2. A boy?!!! YES! So happy for y'all! I heard that they can find out the sex by a blood test nowadays (I had my last one 6 yrs ago... so, I'm kinda old to this... lol). Anyway, have fun picking out the nursery and buying itsy bitsy boy clothes!

  3. How exciting! You are going to have so much fun. I didn't find out with my first baby, but I had to have so many ultrasounds with the second one that it just made sense to know. Congratulations!!!
